Add some black to the background with lumograph pencil. You should be able to tell i made two of the " dark box " in between the spokes are darker now. I used 8B graphite pencil to give a first layer. I did not push my pencil hard into the paper, just medium strength. And then I used lumograph pencil to cover it again. so it's way darker. Added shadows and lines on the back of the rim. You need good pencil control on that. I am not really good with it as you can see. I used 2B and mechanical pencil for that. Finished with darkest part in the rim. Fixed the center again. Fixed lugs and shade near the center. I started to use stick eraser to bring out the white lines on the rim. I added more shadow overall with 2B pencil.
