First of all, for people who always have problem with their rims out of shape, you guys could try griding the paper. My grid on this drawing is 3cm square each box. My dimension of the drawing is around 21 cm by 21 cm. Griding does not count as cheating! It's a tool to help you learn faster. Of course. later on you probably won't need it since you got the skills. Just make sure you grid it right.. or you will end up bad. I usually start with the basic outline of the rim with mechanical pencil. It's NOT always circle. If you have grid like I said, its going to help you on the shape.
